MEET OUR APPRENTICES/INTERNS 2007-2008

Alyssa - Alyssa is a Freshman at Clinton High School.  She has been dancing for eleven years.  Currently, Alyssa is taking seven dance classes each week.  She is also a second year member of the By Grace Performance Team.  In her spare time, Ayssa enjoys cheerleading, playing basketball, and hanging out with friends.  She is looking forward to a great year filled with fun!

Brodie - Brodie began dancing at the age of seven.  Brodie attends Clinton High School as a Freshman.  Brodie is currently enrolled in ballet, tap, and jazz/lyrical.  She is also a second year member of the By Grace Performance Team.  This is Brodie's third year as an apprentice at By Grace.

Casey - Casey started dancing at the age of two.  She is 15 years old and attends Clinton High School as a Freshman.  Casey has been a member of the By Grace Performance Team since it started in 2005.  She is also a second year member of the By Grace M.A.T.S. Team.  This is Casey's third year as an apprentice at By Grace.  She is currently enrolled in nine classes a week plus private lessons.

Laurel - Laurel is 12 years old and in the 6th grade at Holy Rosary School.  She started dancing at the age of three.  She has been a member of the By Grace Performance Team since 2005.  This is her third year of apprenticing.  Laurel is currently enrolled in tap, jazz/lyrical, ballet, pre-pointe, musical theatre, and acrobats.  Laurel's favorite classes are tap, pre-pointe and musical theatre.

Mikaela - Mikaela started dancing at the age of three.  She is now 11 years old.  Mikaela is currently taking two ballet classes, hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, and tap.  This is Mikaela's first year as an apprentice.  She is a second year member of the By Grace Performance Team.  She will be competing in three group dances, a solo, and a duet.  Mikaela says she loves to dance!  She is in the sixth grade at Clinton Middle School.

Riley - Riley started dancing at the age of three.  She joined the By Grace Performance Team at the age of 10.  She has performed in six dance competitions in 2006 & 2007.  Riley is also a member of the By Grace M.A.T.S. Team.  She has competed in acrobats in Basehor, Kansas.  Riley is in the sixth grade at Clinton Middle School and is 12 years old.  This is Riley's third year as an apprentice at By Grace. 

Sandra - Sandra is 17 years old and a Junior at Lakeland High School.  Sandra fell in love with dance at the age of 3.  She has studied at By Grace since its inception.  Sandra is a fourth year member of the By Grace Performance Team and has competed in group routines as well as being a soloist dancer.  Sandra has competed in Kansas City, Overland Park, Springfield, St. Louis, and at the team's first national competition in the summer of 2008 at the Branson Convention Center in Branson.  Most importantly, Sandra has had three years of training as an apprentice/intern learning to teach the art she loves.  Sandra is looking forward to working with the students this year. 

Tanna - Tanna is 10 years old and in the 5th grade at Henry Elementary School.  She started dance at the age of two.  Tanna has been a student at By Grace since 2006.  This is Tanna's first year as an apprentice.  She is currently enrolled in tap, jazz, ballet, acrobats, and poms.  Tanna is a member of the  By Grace Performance Team.
